A Brief History of Fair Haven Baptist Church
Fair Haven Baptist Church was founded 68 years ago as an Independent Baptist church, born out of a desire to establish a congregation committed to the authority of Scripture, the preaching of the gospel, and separation from denominational compromise. From its earliest days, the church has upheld the King James Bible, traditional worship, and expository preaching as core to its identity and mission.
What began as a small gathering of believers has, by God’s grace, grown into a vibrant and faithful body of Christ. Through the decades, the church has remained unwavering in its stand for truth, passionate about soulwinning, and dedicated to supporting missions both locally and globally.
In response to the growing needs of the ministry, Fair Haven Baptist Church constructed a new church building 11 years ago, providing expanded space for worship, teaching, and outreach. This milestone reflected not only God’s provision but also the congregation’s commitment to preparing for future generations of faithful ministry.
Today, Fair Haven Baptist Church continues to stand as a lighthouse in the community—"earnestly contending for the faith" (Jude 1:3)—while holding fast to its biblical foundations and pressing forward with a heart to serve, preach, and glorify Jesus Christ until He comes.
